Phoenix, AZ – Man Killed in Fatal Hit-and-Run Accident at 27th Ave & Indian School Rd
Phoenix, AZ (February 28, 2021) – Officers with the Phoenix Police Department are looking for a suspect in a hit-and-run crash that left a pedestrian dead early Sunday morning, February 28.
Police say the wreck happened near 27th Avenue and Indian School Road around 4:15 a.m. At that time, arrived to find the victim, identified only as a 30-year-old man. First responders attempted life-saving measures but he was pronounced dead before he could be transported to a hospital. He has not been identified.
Authorities have recovered a white SUV that they believe may have been driven by the suspect, though the suspect is still unknown.
The investigation is ongoing, and further details on the events leading up to the wreck have not been released.
