Phoenix, AZ (February 6, 2021) – Officers with the Yuma Police Department are investigating a pedestrian accident near 14th Avenue and 12th Street.

Initial reports state that an agriculture bus hit a man riding on a bike. The driver stayed on the scene and cooperated with officers.

Authorities with the Yuma Fire Department (YFD) performed life-saving measures on the man but pronounced him dead at the scene. The events leading up to the accident are unclear, but officers with the Yuma Police Department are investigating. The area was closed while they cleared the scene and collected evidence.

The accident remains under investigation, and no further details have been released. No charges or citations have been filed at this time.
