Phoenix, AZ (March 17, 2020) – Phoenix police are conducting a joint investigation with Arizona State University and OSHA to determine how a 27-year-old man died in downtown after a work accident on Tuesday morning.

Authorities say that the man died during a workplace accident in the area of First Avenue and Van Buren Street. Officials say the investigation is in the early stages, and investigators are working to determine what happened.

No further information was available, though it appears that the man died at the scene of the accident. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
