Phoenix, AZ – Motorcyclist Killed in Crash at 23rd Ave & McDowell Rd
Phoenix, AZ (January 25, 2020) – Phoenix police are investigating an accident after a motorcyclist was killed on Saturday night.
According to officers from the Phoenix Police Department, an SUV was traveling southbound on 23rd Avenue, near McDowell Road and Interstate 17, when a man on a motorcycle heading west on McDowell Road collided with the vehicle.
The two people in the SUV were removed safely and were not seriously injured but were transported to a local area hospital. Police say the man on the motorcycle died at the scene of the accident. The driver of the SUV was evaluated and police say that impairment is not suspected.
The motorcycle rider has not been identified, and the investigation is ongoing. Police say that no charges or citations have been issued at this time.
