Phoenix, AZ (March 21, 2020) – On Saturday night, a multi-vehicle crash resulted in several injuries and traffic backups on I-17 at Bethany Home Road.

According to officials from the Phoenix Police Department, at least two vehicles were involved in the crash, which occurred on Interstate 17 southbound near Bethany Home Road.

Authorities say the collision occurred when the vehicles traveling in the left lanes collided in an apparent chain-reaction event. Paramedics were on the scene around 11:45 p.m. to treat victims.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash at this time.
