Phoenix, AZ (July 17, 2019) – A car crash on Wednesday evening, July 17th, closed US-60 westbound in Salt River Canyon.

Officials reported that the multi-vehicle injury accident occurred on US-60 eastbound, also known as AZ-77, at milepost 294 around 5:00 p.m. Police and fire rescue units were on the scene to investigate and assist the victims of the crash, which was located between Show Low and Globe. Officials have not released details about the vehicles involved or victims at this time.

US-60 was then closed in both directions around 6:23 p.m. to clean up the scene of the wreck.
