Phoenix, AZ (July 15, 2019) – A multi-vehicle crash occurred early Monday morning, July 15th, on I-17 near Jomax Road.

According to officials, the injury accident occurred around 8:00 a.m. and appeared to involve multiple vehicles, which collided in the center lane of southbound I-17, also known as the Black Canyon Freeway. Police and fire rescue authorities were on the scene to assist victims and determine the cause of the wreck.

The incident blocked the center lane and obstructed the traffic across the other lanes of I-17. All lanes reopened just before 9:00 a.m. Officials are still investigating the wreck and have not released the victims’ information at this time.
