Phoenix, AZ (August 2, 2019) – A multi-vehicle wreck on Friday evening, August 2nd, blocked the right lane of traffic on I-10 near 5th Avenue.

According to authorities at the scene, multiple vehicles collided in the westbound lanes of I-10, also known as the Papago Freeway, around 9:30 p.m. Police and fire rescue units responded to the injury accident, which closed the right lane of traffic for an hour. First responders were assisting the injured victims and working to determine the cause of the collision; however, the drivers’ information and their current conditions have not been released.

The lane was cleared just before 11:00 p.m.
