Phoenix, AZ – Multi-Vehicle Wreck Blocks Right Lanes on I-10 at 67th Ave

Phoenix, AZ (July 31, 2019) – A multi-vehicle wreck on Wednesday afternoon, July 31st, blocked the right lanes of traffic on I-10 before 67th Avenue in Phoenix.

According to authorities on the scene of the injury accident, multiple vehicles collided in the eastbound lanes of I-10, also known as the Papago Freeway, around 5:17 p.m. Police and fire rescue units responded to the wreck and said that the accident involved at least three vehicles that collided in the right lanes and blocked traffic. First responders were assisting the injured victims and working to determine the cause of the collision, but the drivers’ information and their current conditions have not been released at this time.

All lanes reopened just before 6:00 p.m., though the exit to 67th Avenue remained blocked and traffic was backed up through rush hour.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recoveries.
