Phoenix, AZ – Multi-Vehicle Wreck Causes Injuries on I-17 at Grant Rd
Phoenix, AZ (June 20, 2020) – A rear-end accident blocked multiple lanes of Interstate 17 near Grant Road early Saturday morning and resulted in at least one injury.
Officials say that the crash occurred when multiple passenger vehicles collided in the left lanes of I-17 southbound at Grant Road around 2:30 a.m. Police and fire rescue units responded to the injury accident to assist victims and determine the cause of the wreck. They have not released the drivers’ information, though they say at least two vehicles were involved in the wreck.
The accident remains under investigation at this time, and further details have not been released.
