Phoenix, AZ (January 4, 2020) – A 9-year-old child was transported to Phoenix Children’s Hospital after a two-vehicle crash in Phoenix on Saturday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to the scene near 43rd Avenue and Peoria Avenue around 3:00 p.m. Authorities from the Phoenix Police Department say that a Buick was making a left turn at Peoria Avenue when it collided with a pickup truck heading northbound.

Phoenix Fire confirmed a 29-year-old female, a 28-year-old male, and a 9-year-old were hurt in the accident, though they did not give the victims’ current conditions. One of the patients refused transportation via ambulance, but the others were transported to local trauma centers.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families in hopes of a quick recovery.
