Phoenix, AZ (April 20, 2020) – An accident that involved one pickup truck and at least one other vehicle closed the right lanes of Loop 101 on Monday afternoon and resulted in injury.
Authorities said that at least one vehicle appeared to collide with a truck on Loop 101 westbound, also known as the Pima Freeway, near 64th Street around 3:30 p.m. Fire rescue units and emergency medical technicians were at the scene to assist the victims and take witness statements, though it’s unclear how many vehicles in total were involved in the crash.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
Multi-Vehicle Crashes in Arizona
A total of 97 deaths, 2,728 injuries and 516 instances of damaged property were recorded by the Arizona Department of Transportation in 2012 after accidents involving larger vehicles on the highway, including pickup trucks and SUVs. When it comes to these accidents, the results for victims are often devastating.
The nature of multi-car accidents, especially those involving larger vehicles, can make injuries and property damage much more serious. Victims could be facing an uphill battle with insurance companies and other drivers. But those affected by these sudden, unforeseen, and stressful crashes can seek help from a personal injury lawyer, especially when they’ve been involved in a wreck resulting from other drivers’ negligent actions.
