Phoenix, AZ (July 3, 2020) – A multi-vehicle wreck blocked the right lanes at the Peoria Avenue off-ramp from Interstate 17 southbound on Friday night, resulting in at least one injury.

Per official information from the scene, the multi-vehicle crash happened when at least three vehicles collided in the right lanes of I-17 southbound, also known as the Black Canyon Freeway, at the Peoria Avenue off-ramp around 10:40 p.m. Fire rescue and police officials were at the scene to assist victims but have not determined the cause of the crash or released the drivers’ information, though they said the accident appeared to be a rear-end collision.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
