Phoenix, AZ (January 15, 2020) – A pedestrian lost his or her life after a crash involving a pickup truck on Thursday morning.

According to information collected at the scene from the Phoenix Police Department, the accident occurred near Central Avenue and Broadway Road, and the pedestrian was hit while crossing the street around 5:00 a.m.

Police told ABC15 a second truck may have also struck the victim at the scene, but both drivers stopped after the collision. Impairment is not believed to be a factor for the drivers involved in the crash, though the investigation is ongoing.

The victim has not been identified at this time.
