Phoenix, AZ (October 24, 2020) – Deputies from the Phoenix Police Department responded to a multi-vehicle crash involving injuries on Interstate 10 at 75th Avenue on Saturday evening.

Officials say the multi-vehicle accident happened on Interstate 10 westbound in the greater Phoenix area. Police officers were dispatched to the scene of the accident around 6:30 p.m., close to the 75th Avenue exit. The vehicles involved were traveling in the right lanes of I-10 when they collided in an apparent rear-end accident near the off-ramp of 75th Avenue.

Though officers with the Phoenix Police Department have not released extensive details regarding the crash, initial reports indicated that at least two sedans were involved in the accident.

Ambulances and fire rescue units were on the scene and appeared to either treat one victim at the scene or transport at least one person to a local hospital via ambulance. However, the victims’ information and current conditions have not been released.

The accident remains under investigation.
