Phoenix, AZ (October 29, 2020) – Two vehicles were involved in a car crash on Interstate 10 Thursday afternoon, resulting in at least one injury.

According to authorities from the Phoenix Police Department, the accident occurred when the driver of a sedan collided with another vehicle on I-10 eastbound before the Mini-Stack. Initial reports stated that the accident occurred close to the Mini-Stack ramp in the center lanes of I-10, also known as the Papago Freeway. The accident was approaching Loop 202 around 6:30 p.m.

Fire crews and Phoenix EMTs responded to the scene and reported that victims were being treated at the scene. However, rescue authorities say that at least one person may have been transported to an area hospital.

The victims’ identifying information and current conditions have not been released at this time. The investigation into the circumstances leading up to the accident continues.
