Phoenix, AZ – Rollover Crash Causes Injuries on I-17 SB at Camelback Rd
Phoenix, AZ (June 2, 2020) – Officers from the Phoenix Police Department are investigating a serious multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 17 that occurred on Tuesday morning.
The accident occurred around 6:30 a.m. on I-17 southbound near Camelback Road, though it’s not clear how it initially occurred. Phoenix EMTs were at the scene of the accident to treat victims and transport at least one to an area hospital. It appears two vehicles were involved in the crash, which occurred in the right lanes of the highway, but the victims’ current conditions and identities have not been released. One truck was photographed rolled over on its roof at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
