Phoenix, AZ (September 24, 2019) – This morning, shortly before 9 a.m., police responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident in Phoenix that led to serious injuries for one individual.

The crash, according to authorities, happened on 52nd Street when two adults were crossing the street and one of them was struck by a passing vehicle. The driver stayed at the scene of the collision and was cooperative with the police.

Due to the accident, 52nd Street was closed for some time while police took a closer look at the accident scene. Police prompted motorists in the area to avoid the area and choose an alternate route.
