Phoenix, AZ – Serious Injuries Reported in Car Accident on I-10
Phoenix, AZ (September 12, 2019) – Around 11:30 a.m., Phoenix Police respond to the scene of a car accident that caused serious injuries on I-10.
According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, the accident closed down lanes immediately following the accident.
The closure took place due to serious injuries from the accident. Paramedics assisted those who were injured in the scene and transported some individuals to the hospital via ambulance.
A preliminary investigation into the accident showed that a sedan had a flat tire and was moving about 20 mph on the highway when it was suddenly struck by a vehicle behind it.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
