Phoenix, AZ (August 12, 2019) – One victim was sent to the hospital in serious condition after a crash near Interstate 10 at 7th Street early Sunday morning, August 11th.

According to Phoenix police, a car merging off I-10, also known as the Papago Freeway, collided with a car traveling southbound on 7th Street around 2:30 a.m. One driver was transported to the local hospital with serious injuries. The other driver, identified as 28-year-old Jaira Delgado, showed signs of impairment at the scene of the crash, per information from officials at the scene.

Delgado was arrested and booked for aggravated assault, but the other driver has not been identified at this time.
