Phoenix, AZ – Serious Injury Multi-Car Crash at 7th St at Thunderbird Rd
Phoenix, AZ (December 5, 2019) – A multi-vehicle crash flipped a Jeep onto its side and sent one person to the hospital on Thursday night in Phoenix.
According to authorities, the multi-vehicle crash happened near Seventh Street and Thunderbird Road around 7:00 p.m. The collision caused a Jeep to flip onto its side, and at least four other cars appeared to be involved.
The Phoenix Fire Department said one of the victims had to be freed from the vehicle, and four people were treated at the scene as a result of the accident. Three of the victims refused transport to the hospital, but one person was taken to a local trauma center via ambulance. Their current condition is not known.
The roadway was closed while the crash scene was cleaned up, and no further details were released. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
