Phoenix, AZ (June 25, 2020) – Southbound Interstate 17 has reopened at Cactus Road after an injurious crash, per reports from the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The accident happened on Thursday around 5:30 p.m. Officers at the scene say that a passenger vehicle rear-ended one SUV, resulting in a chain-reaction crash with three vehicles total. Phoenix fire said the individuals involved were treated at the scene or transported to an area hospital via ambulance. Their identifying information and current conditions have not been released.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
