Phoenix, AZ (October 12, 2020) – Deputies from the Phoenix Police Department responded to a multi-vehicle injury crash at the Deck Park Tunnel on Monday afternoon, October 12th.

Officials say the multi-vehicle accident happened on Interstate 10 westbound in the greater Phoenix area. Police officers were dispatched to the scene of the accident around 6:00 p.m., near the edge of the Deck Park Tunnel. The vehicles involved were traveling in the left lanes of I-10 when they collided in an apparent rear-end or chain-reaction accident. Though officers with the Phoenix Police Department have not released extensive details regarding the crash, initial reports indicated that at least two sedans were involved in the accident.

An investigation into the circumstances leading up to the accident continues at this time.
