Phoenix, AZ (August 29, 2019) – Around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 27th, two women were injured in a car crash that took place at a building on 44th Street.

The accident occured when a driver lost control of their vehicle and veered into a building. Fire crews with both Phoenix and Scottsdale responded to the scene.

Officials reported that the two people, a driver and a passenger, were hospitalized due to injuries they sustained in the accident.

The two have since been identified as a 46-year-old woman and an 18-year-old woman, both of whom are in stable condition and are expected to recover.

The investigation into the circumstances leading up to the accident continues at this time.
