Phoenix, AZ – UPDATE: Gary Danahy Struck & Killed on I-17
Phoenix, AZ (October 7, 2019) – The victim of Saturday night’s fatal pedestrian accident has been identified as 52-year-old Gary M. Danahy of Phoenix.
Per reports from the Phoenix Police Department, the northbound lanes of Interstate 17 were shut down Saturday night after Danahy was struck and killed while walking along the freeway. The accident occurred around 7:30 p.m. near the Glendale Avenue exit, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
