Phoenix, AZ – UPDATE: Woman & 2 Children Hospitalized After Crash Near 30th Ave
Phoenix, AZ (October 30, 2019) – A woman and her two children were hospitalized after an accident on Monday near 30th Avenue and Thunderbird Road.
Per reports from the Phoenix Police Department, a vehicle ran a red light and collided with the car the woman and her children were traveling in. According to Sgt. Maggie Cox of the Phoenix Police Department, the woman and her two children were transported to a trauma hospital with serious injuries after being treated by firefighters at the scene.
Capt. Rob McDade of the Phoenix Fire Department said that the driver who ran the red light fled the scene. There was no update about whether the driver was caught, but Cox said that no arrests have been made at this time.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
