Phoenix, AZ – Man Killed in Fatal Car Crash at 19th and Clarendon Avenues


Phoenix, AZ (July 18, 2019) – Around 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning, July 17th, a fatal car crash took place at the intersection of 19th Avenue and Clarendon Avenue.

A man lost his life after his vehicle struck a utility pole in Phoenix, according to the Phoenix Police Department, who was dispatched to the scene immediately after it occurred.

The man has since been identified as 19-year-old Efrain Gutierrez. Police said that, before his vehicle made an impact with the pole, it drove left of center and onto a sidewalk.

According to paramedics, Gutierrez was pronounced deceased at the scene. Police are still investigating the circumstances of the crash.
