Pine, AZ (June 3, 2020) – An injury accident blocked several lanes on State Route 87 near the Tonto National Forest on Wednesday and resulted in injuries.

Authorities at the scene say that at least two vehicles collided in the right lanes of SR 87 northbound around 9:00 p.m. First responders were at the scene shortly after the accident occurred, assisting the injured victims and investigating the cause of the crash, which was located close to milepost 228. However, officials have not released the drivers’ information or details about their injuries at this time.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
