Rimrock, AZ – Injuries Reported in Box Truck Accident on I-17 at Cornville Rd
Rimrock, AZ (December 19, 2019) – A crash involving a box truck closed northbound Interstate 17 near Rimrock early Tuesday morning and resulted in at least one serious injury.
According to local officers, the northbound lanes of I-17 were closed at Cornville Road. A report from the Arizona Department of Transportation stated that a box truck crashed and was in the median after colliding with another vehicle. Debris and part of the median guardrail were blocking both lanes on the northbound side.
Specific details about the victims’ injuries are not known, but it appears that Rimrock EMTs transported at least one victim to the hospital via ambulance.
