Rio Verde, AZ (May 8, 2020) – An injury accident closed State Route 87 near Rio Verde and Four Peaks on Friday night.

Authorities at the scene say that at least two vehicles collided in the right lanes of SR 87 southbound at milepost 207 around 7:00 p.m. First responders were at the scene shortly after the accident occurred, assisting the injured victims and investigating the cause of the crash. However, officials have not released the drivers’ information or details about their injuries at this time.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
