San Tan Valley, AZ – Teen Hit & Injured in Bicycle Accident Near Poston Butte High

San Tan Valley, AZ (December 2, 2019) – A teen was hit by a car while riding his bicycle near Poston Butte High School on Monday morning.

According to local authorities, the crash happened near Gantzel and Bella Vista Roads around 6:30 a.m. The student, a 15- to 16-year-old boy, was riding his bike when he was struck by a vehicle. The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office and aerials from a news chopper showed a white car with heavy windshield damage from the collision. The student driver remained on scene and the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office said that they are still investigating the crash at this time.

The boy was transported to a local hospital in an ambulance.
