Scottsdale, AZ (August 11, 2019) – A multi-vehicle wreck early Sunday morning, August 11th, blocked the left lane and HOV lane of Loop 101 near Indian School Road.

Authorities say that the crash occurred just before 3:15 a.m. and involved at least two sedans and one SUV, which collided in the HOV and left lanes of L-101 southbound, also known as the Pima Freeway. Police and fire rescue officials also responded to the injury accident, assisting victims and investigating the cause of the wreck. However, the drivers’ information, as well as the extent of their injuries, has not been released.

All lanes were cleared by 4:00 a.m.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recoveries.

Injury Accidents in Arizona

According to accident data recently released by the Arizona Department of Transportation, more than 35,000 injuries occurred across the state last year. And of the nearly 55,000 car accidents total that occurred in 2018, more than half involved at least two injured victims and two or more vehicles.

Whether it’s costly medical bills and long-term injuries or job loss, tragic, unforeseen circumstances may befall victims and their families after a serious accident. But those affected can contact a Phoenix accident lawyer for help, and in some cases, seek their fair compensation from a personal injury or wrongful death lawsuit.
