Scottsdale, AZ – Multi-Vehicle Wreck Results in Injuries on SR 51 at Shea Blvd
Scottsdale, AZ (February 18, 2020) – A serious crash blocked all lanes of State Route 51 near Shea Boulevard in Scottsdale and resulted in several injured victims on Wednesday evening.
Authorities say that the crash occurred when several vehicles collided in the left lanes of SR 51 northbound, also known as the Piestewa Freeway, past Shea Boulevard around 7:00 p.m. Police and fire rescue units were at the scene to assist injured victims and determine the cause of the crash, though the drivers’ information has not been released at this time. However, at least one person was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
