Scottsdale, AZ (November 29, 2019) – Further details have been released after an accident in which one man was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Thursday night.

According to officers from the Scottsdale Police Department, the accident occurred near the intersection of Hayden and Osborn Roads. The man was pronounced dead after being transported to a local hospital, per Scottsdale police Sgt. Brian Reynolds. Hayden Road was closed between Indian School Road and Thomas Road for an undetermined amount of time while officials investigated.

The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and was cooperative with investigators, though it’s still unclear how the accident occurred at this time.
