Scottsdale, AZ (October 27, 2019) – On Saturday, a deadly motorcycle crash in south Scottsdale left one man dead.

Officials with Scottsdale Police Department say that the crash happened just before 2:00 p.m. at Scottsdale Road and Oak Street and involved a vehicle and a motorcycle. The motorcyclist was identified as 31-year-old William D. La Fleur.

Scottsdale paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after the wreck occurred to transport La Fleur to the hospital, but he died shortly after arrival.

The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and police say impairment was not a factor in the wreck. The intersection of Scottsdale Road and Oak Street was closed for several hours while police investigated.  The cause of the crash still remains under investigation at this time.
