Seligman, AZ – Rear-End Crash Causes Injuries on I-40 Near Ash Fork
Seligman, AZ (November 7, 2020) – A serious multi-car accident closed several lanes of Interstate 40 in Seligman on Saturday morning and resulted in at least one injury at the scene.
Officials from the local police department in Seligman say that the crash occurred when at least two vehicles collided in the left lanes of I-40 eastbound around 11:30 a.m. Officers say that the crash occurred near milepost 138. Police and fire rescue squads responded to the scene of the wreck to assist injured victims and determine the cause of the crash.
However, officials have not released the drivers’ information or the extent of their injuries at this time. Initial reports from the Arizona Department of Transportation seemed to indicate that the wreck was caused by a rear-end collision, though specific details have not been released at this time.
