St. Johns, AZ (August 3, 2019) – An injury wreck on Saturday evening, August 3rd, closed US 191 between St. Johns and Sanders.

According to officials on the scene, multiple vehicles collided in the northbound lanes of US 191, also known as AZ-61, around 7:08 p.m. Police and fire rescue units responded to the injury crash, which closed all lanes of traffic for more than an hour. First responders assisted the injured victims and worked to determine the cause of the collision, located about 11 miles north of St. Johns at milepost 327. However, the drivers’ information and their current conditions have not been released at this time.
