Tempe, AZ (April 28, 2020) – At least one person sustained injuries in what appeared to be a two-vehicle crash on US 60 Tuesday evening, per reports from the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

The Phoenix Police Department and Mesa Fire Rescue units were dispatched to the scene of the accident around 10:00 p.m. The accident occurred on westbound US 60, also known as the Superstition Freeway, near the Sossaman Road exit. It looks as though at least one victim was treated at the scene by EMTs after the accident, though their current condition remains unclear.

The accident remains under investigation.
