Tempe, AZ – Two-Car Crash Causes Injuries on L-101 at Broadway Rd
Tempe, AZ (May 18, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a two-car crash that occurred on a major Valley freeway on Monday afternoon.
Per reports from officers with the Tempe Police Department, the incident occurred around 4:00 p.m. on southbound Loop 101, also known as the Price Freeway, at Broadway Road. Authorities closed the right and center lanes of L-101 while they worked to clear the scene and investigated the cause of the accident.
Phoenix paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after the incident occurred and transported at least one injured victim to a local area hospital. The victim’s current condition is unknown.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
