Tempe, AZ (October 2, 2020) – A multi-car accident on US 60 near McClintock Drive resulted in injuries on Friday afternoon.

According to officers from the Tempe Police Department, emergency crews and local authorities were called to the scene near McClintock Drive around 1:30 p.m. Authorities say a sedan was traveling eastbound on US 60 when it collided with another vehicle, triggering a rear-end accident in the area. The area was closed while police worked to clear the scene and investigate the wreck.

However, they haven’t released further details on the events leading up to the collision.

First responders said that initial reports stated that two vehicles were involved in the accident. EMTs also responded to the scene shortly after the wreck occurred to treat victims, though the severity of the victims’ injuries is unclear.
