Three Points, AZ – Fatal Accident on State Route 86 Takes Two Lives
Three Points, AZ (August 13, 2019) – On Monday, August 12th, police were called to the scene of a fatal accident that took place on State Route 86 and took two lives.
The accident, according to police, took the life of a mother and son, as well as seriously injured her infant daughter, around 8:45 a.m.
The accident was deemed a rollover. Police claim that 38-year-old Sabrina Coons was ejected from the Ford Explorer in Three Points. Her son, 10-year-old Layton Coons, was also pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Coons’ one-year-old daughter was taken to the hospital in critical condition after she was ejected from the SUV. Coons’ two-year-old daughter was also in the vehicle and suffered minor injuries due to the accident.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
