Tonopah, AZ (September 18, 2019) – On Monday morning, one man was killed in a fatal accident on Interstate 10 near milepost 84.

According to the Maricopa County Police Department, two people were injured and one person was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck, which occurred just before 9:00 a.m. on the Papago Freeway.

Nathaniel Jordan Watson, 25, from Lenoir, North Carolina, was killed in the accident. The Department of Public Safety says he was a passenger in a pickup truck that rolled onto the right shoulder, ejecting the occupants of the vehicle. The other passengers were transported to an area hospital via ambulance.

No further information was available, though authorities are still investigating the crash at this time.
