Tucson, AZ – 2-Car Crash Causes Injuries on I-19 at San Xavier Rd
Tucson, AZ (April 5, 2020) – Officials with the Department of Public Safety are investigating a two-vehicle accident that occurred on Interstate 19 on Sunday.
A public information officer with DPS said that the crash happened around 7:00 p.m. near San Xavier Road. Officials said both vehicles involved had to be towed from the scene and both left the highway after the initial collision. Victims were evaluated for non-life-threatening injuries by Tucson paramedics, though their current conditions are unknown.
The accident remains under investigation.
