Tucson, AZ – 3 Seriously Injured After Crash at E Silverlake Rd


Tucson, AZ (September 21, 2019) – Three people, including a young child, were injured in a car accident on Tucson’s south side Friday afternoon.

Officials from the Tucson Police Department said that one of the drivers suffered life-threatening injuries and the other was seriously injured. The accident occurred at East Silverlake Road and South Kino Parkway. The injured child was transported to an area hospital via ambulance with serious but non-life threatening injuries, per information from Tucson Police Officer Sgt. Pete Dugan.

The other injured victims were treated on the scene by Tucson emergency medical technicians. Detectives are investigating the cause of the wreck and whether impairment played a role in the crash.
