Tucson, AZ – 4-Car Crash Results in Injuries at W 22nd St


Tucson, AZ (September 16, 2019) – One person was hospitalized after a four-car wreck on Monday morning in Tucson’s west side.

According to the Tucson Police Department, the incident occurred on West 22nd Street near Interstate 10 and involved one semi-truck, one SUV, one four-door sedan, and another vehicle that has not been identified. All four vehicles were traveling in the westbound lanes of 22nd Street when they collided around 11:00 a.m. At least two traffic lights were damaged as a result of the crash, and one of the victims was transported to an area hospital via ambulance.

Tucson officials have not released further details about the wreck or those involved, but all injured victims are expected to survive.
