Bicycle Accidents in Arizona

Arizona leads the nation in bicycle accidents, with a high number of these incidents attributed to the state’s dry, warm climate and cyclist-friendly streets. But biking accidents are on the rise across the United States overall due to rising fuel and vehicle costs. In fact, according to the National Traffic Highway Administration, approximately 48,000 bicyclists were injured in accidents countrywide, many of which were attributed to the negligent actions of motor vehicle drivers.
