Tucson, AZ – Fatal Car Crash Reported on E Broadway Blvd at Tanque Verde Loop Rd
Tucson, AZ (November 26, 2020) – Officers with the Tucson Police Department are investigating a fatal vehicle collision that occurred on the east side on Wednesday evening.
Motorists were advised to avoid East Broadway Boulevard between North Houghton and Tanque Verde Loop Roads while police investigated the cause of the crash and cleared the scene. Local EMTs arrived at the area of the accident shortly after it occurred at 6:30 p.m., but it’s unclear how many individuals were involved or seriously injured. Officers did not say if more than one person was killed in the accident, or how many vehicles were involved. Officers were still on the scene around 8:30 p.m.
The investigation into the events leading up to the crash is ongoing. Authorities have not released further details at this time.
