Tucson, AZ – Injuries Reported in 2-Car Crash on River Rd Near La Canada Dr
Tucson, AZ (April 17, 2020) – A collision on River Road blocked traffic on both the eastbound and westbound sides on Friday.
Deputies with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department are investigating the collision, which happened at 5900 East River Rd. and closed traffic from Rio Verde Vista Drive to Tanuri Drive. A PCSD community alert said the wreck was located near La Canada Drive and occurred around 7:20 p.m. Two vehicles were involved, and at least one person was transported to the hospital, per an email from Dep. Marissa Hernandez, a spokesperson for PCSD.
The accident remains under investigation.
