Tucson, AZ – Injuries Reported in 3-Car Crash at I-19 & Ajo Way
Tucson, AZ (February 6, 2020) – Officials with the Department of Public Safety are investigating a three-vehicle accident that occurred on Interstate 19 on Thursday.
Raul Garcia, a public information officer with DPS, said that the crash happened at around 5:15 p.m. underneath the Ajo Way overpass. Garcia said all vehicles involved had to be towed from the scene. One person was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries via ambulance by Tucson EMTs, though that person’s current condition is unknown.
The accident remains under investigation.
