Tucson, AZ – Jesus H. Lamadrid Killed in ATV Crash at W Calle Aragon
Tucson, AZ (May 24, 2020) – An ATV driver has died after a collision at the 800 block of West Calle Aragon early Sunday morning.
At approximately 4:30 a.m., officers from Operations Division South and members of the Tucson Fire Department were called to West Calle Aragon for a report of a serious injury accident involving an all-terrain vehicle and a passenger car.
Upon arrival, Tucson Fire immediately rendered aid to the adult male driver of the ATV, identified as 23-year-old Jesus H. Lamadrid, and transported him to the hospital. Before arrival at the medical center, Lamadrid passed away in the ambulance.
Per interviews conducted and roadway evidence collected by Tucson Police Traffic Investigations Unit, Lamadrid was involved in a collision with a passenger vehicle and was thrown into the roadway. He then struck a wooden residential fence.
There were no witnesses to the actual collision; however, friends went looking for Lamadrid and found him in the roadway.
Further details have not been released at this time. This is an ongoing crash investigation, and officers have asked anyone with information is asked to call 88-CRIME.
